...i think my rating might be unfair.
because everything i had read about this spot said i must have the lobster roll, so i had the lobster roll...which, for me, was a mistake. it will never cease to baffle me how all these lob roll fans could forget to mention that this delicacy is, in fact, floating in a sea of mayo and butter. i can see some foodies sneering now, but this is different. it's like how the record stops when the bully walks into the school prom with the other guys woman... my body went from pumping blood to pumping sludge within moments -- the opertaion was seriously hampered. im pretty sure i could not eat today and be just fine.
i should mention the lobster roll was good. i should also mention that i saw some whole grilled fish dishes coming to other patrons which looked amazing and probably were more my speed. |
