...I went to del posto with 10 colleagues last week hoping for a meal that would "impress", with a decor to match. Well the decor was fine, however the only thing worse than the "aroma" of every part of my ten course meal were the "flavors". No, wait, I mean the service... The jerk that served the risotto that smelled like an old sweat sock was actually more annoying than the lingering taste of metallic grit. Combine this with an incomprehensible wine list and the fact that the business partners we invited had to avert their eyes when thanking us for the meal made for a strong impression. |
