Tristan's cooking! Nom nom! I like vegetarian food. Or some of it. But every now and then when I eat at a highly praised vegetarian restaurant I can't tell if I have to be a vegetarian to fully appreciate it. "Vegetarians love this place, thus I CAN TOO! I...can...I...want a pork chop.&qu... Read More

Sacred Chow is one of my favorite places to eat in New York. I have found everything I've had here to be exceptionally good, particularly the Reuben and the Sacred Caesar salad. The service always seems to be pretty good, my only complaint is that its quite small and when the tables are full it can... Read More

I eat at Sacred Chow way more often than I should, considering that it is on the pricier end of places I regularly visit. I've never had anything I would consider bad at Sacred Chow--most items are very good, with the occasional mind-blowingly-good item. When I eat here with my boyfriend, we u... Read More

Something has happened to this restaurant in the past couple of months. It used to be my favorite NYC spot, and I loved to split the tapas with my friends. I got the biscuits and gravy.....which were really tasty.....and I could hardly believe that they were vegan. In addition to the biscuits and ... Read More

I went to this place for brunch a couple of weeks ago. The service was HORRIBLE. We waited OVER AN HOUR for our food. 20 minutes after ordering the (ONE) waitress came over to tell us they had run of of potatoes. Which happened to be on all of our plates...this should have been a sign to leave right... Read More

I went here last night with 4 other people. I'm vegan, one other is vegan, two others are vegetarian, and one is an omnivore. The smoothies are amazing. Definitely recommend the Charlie Brown and the Gym Body. We started off with the tapas. Keep in mind, these are very small plates so i... Read More

Was recommended by the waitress at Candle Cafe, so I figured it had to be great... I wasn't too impressed. A friend and I split two heroes: the orange barbecued seitan, and the hummus salad. The seitan was chewy, cold, and bland, and just didn't seem like it was particularly well prepared. The ... Read More
