blackdoc says...  Thai-Latin cuisine available on the west side of Harlem sounds like a breathe of fresh air...that is until you taste the food at the awful Talay. While eating at Covo on a Saturday afternoon, the Italian restaurant next door which by the way has a mean chicken fetuccini, I noticed the action in Talay and decided to dine there with my boyfriend a couple days later. That was a bad decision on my part. Before we were even seated I had a terrible taste in my mouth after the eager beaver manager "Romi" introduced himself to me with overwhelmingly annoying enthusiasm and phonyness. He could definitely turn it down a couple notches and cut the phony act. He is glass.
